I'm more concerned about the 3900X fitting within current limits. It's a 125W chip, but the B450 board can't handle it well. The 5700X is also power-limited, while the 5800X is just 65W—plug and play if you have the latest BIOS, reducing stress on the VRM.

The R7 5800X should work fine with your setup. Your CPU-Z data suggests everything looks good, and you're thinking about a used M.2 or older boards—those can handle the 5000 series if they meet the power requirements. Since you're new to mobos, your current setup is solid.

Both B450 and X470 models are viable options. A 5700x offers comparable performance while reducing heat generation and costs.
