Hey there, I just installed a new Amd PC and everything went smoothly. But when I adjust the RAM settings in any XMP profile, the boot time increases noticeably. The default speed is 4800 MHz and it runs perfectly in about 40 seconds. However, with XMP1 it jumps to 5600 MHz and the CPU and memory lights stay on for a minute before the system starts up correctly in one minute. After updating the BIOS, nothing changed—even the beta version didn’t work. I ran Memtest both with and without XMP, and everything was fine. The RAM works great on an Intel setup on my friend’s machine. Anyone else facing this issue? What should I do if it happens?

It usually takes a bit longer after a cold start, but modern systems like Ryzen handle memory setup automatically during installation or when XMP is active. This extra step happens just once per configuration change.

I understand the training process. Boot time tends to be longer with XMP enabled.
