AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D as AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D with enhanced performance over the 5800X3D model
Looking for anyone who has tried this setup? I’m thinking about adding a 5600X3D to the BIOS at 5600X3D resolution. Would it help to disable two cores on a 7 5800X3D running as an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D? This seems like a possibility since overclocking could boost game scores. (Just an idea—have you heard of it?) Alternatively, buying a 5600X3D is tough because it’s only sold in stores, and the only one available is a Ryzen 7 5800X3D that had a faulty core replaced with another.
That's incorrect. 5600x3D performs worse than 5800x3D across all tested measurements. It's not a discussion—this software is fundamentally flawed or there are other factors at play. A 5800x3D should operate around 100 MHz, whereas 5600x3D typically runs between 4300-4400 MHz. Adding more cores and cache to 5600x3D doesn't compensate for its poor baseline performance. It's clearly unreliable.
Reducing the main components will decrease the temperature. Less heat often leads to a stronger improvement and higher results. Occasionally, a lower clock speed can yield better outcomes. Similar to certain overclocking situations where it boosts performance temporarily but may cause issues later.
When browsing this site, you'll notice the 5800X3D performs well in most applications, though its gaming scores lag behind the 5600X3D. You can check its rankings at gamming for a clearer picture. The site also compares it to other models, showing that the 7900X3D outperforms the 7950X3D in gaming tests.
It's incorrect. The information doesn't match well with trusted reviews, and it also doesn't make logical sense since 5600X3D is actually quicker than 5700X3D in most games. 5700X3D runs at much lower clock speeds even though it has all eight cores. In reality, 5600X3D performs better than 5700X3D across the board.
