AMD Ryzen 5 5600X achieves up to 95°C temperature.
Hi, I’m having a problem with my new R5 5600X. I got it about a week ago and it runs fine when I open games, but it gets extremely hot—sometimes reaching 95°C during BFV. It doesn’t feel normal, especially since I’m using the stock fan. Looking at the photos, the usage was around 86%, which seems okay. My GPU is an Radeon RX 6700X, and I’m not sure what’s causing this overheating.
This indicates the current cooling system isn't suitable for your needs—you should consider something better.
Confirm your cooler installation? If so, your current cooler might not be enough. You could consider using an AMD Wraith Prism, which is affordable or even sometimes free. However, if you still have that specific motherboard component (see the image below), please proceed accordingly.
