AMD RX 6800 Gaming X Trio performance issues reported
R - Since swapping to the AMD Rx 6800 I have noticed and experienced lower frames per second on almost every game I normally played, Seen that in Hw monitor that it doesnt look like the GPU is even trying to do anything and not sure if other people have had the same thing or not, dont know if it is something i've done or havent done and would very much love to get some help on this as it's stressing me out. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read or help on this issue, you're all amazing.
Gday! Was looking for some help on an issue I have been encountering since "upgrading" from 2070s to RX 6800. Specs on the rest of the system - CPU Ryzen 9 3900x, 32 GB 3600 CL 18, B450 Tomahawkmax, 650W Corsair PSU cant remember exactly what one. Monitor is LG 32' QHD 144hz. Backstory, So I play mainly World of Warcraft Retail with many hours thrown towards other games on the side like Escape from Tarkov, League of Legends, Path of Exile, NBA titles etc. I have been using a 2070 super for the last 2 years ish and never really had a problem, I sometimes stream mythic plus or raiding on WoW and never had an issues of FPS going below 60 before but since the upgrade I have been noticing that when streaming (Yes i know, swapping to x264 encoding would hit different) But with the "upgrade" to RX 6800 I thought for sure that would be enough to destroy playing and streaming WoW. It started to become noticable when I, which I always do was watching HW monitor, Noticing unlike the 2070s the 6800 would only use about 50watts and 500mhz clock speed on WoW.. I've tried the RX Driver software doing some sort of manual overclock to make sure the clocks are pumping but it doesnt really help. I have even tried going to the extent of updating my bios etc. TL

Typical Solution. Junk Trace leftovers can achieve this... Remove Nvidia Driver packages. Disable the installation of new drivers. Use DDU to delete the JUNK Nvidia files (including any dependencies) and restart the system. Update AMD drivers now. Test again. After that, uninstall both AMD and NVIDIA drivers. Run DDU once more. Restart... then reinstall AMD drivers.
