AMD Relive optimizes audio by generating eight channels automatically.
During recording with ReLive, the video always contains eight audio tracks. This causes the footage to be completely unsuitable because the audio becomes heavily distorted, preventing any editing work in Vegas Pro.
AMD ReLive is severely malfunctioning at the moment. Avoid using it for recordings; opt for OBS Studio instead.
Hey, just checked the recording—seems it was made about three months ago using RADEON REVIVE (5500 XT). Have you updated your drivers or DDU? Are you using the latest version? Also, the 4000kbps bitrate looks really high and might look bad. My version worked fine at 18000 kbps, and 11kbps for audio also seems unusual. Unless I'm missing something, it's pretty late here.
Everything works well for me too. I'm using the newest recommended version with a 5700XT. Are your audio drivers current? The 8-channel setup implies a 7.1 profile is active. Which audio program are you employing? It feels odd to criticize Radeon software without thoroughly checking the details.
Sure, you're right about needing to adjust settings like stereo/surround and bitrates. Those are common options for audio configuration.
A bit late though: Consider switching audio channels from auto to stereo. Record & Stream > Settings (left side). I faced a similar problem—my surround profile was being recorded, but standard video players couldn’t play any sound. An error about audio encoding appeared, which resolved the issue for me.
