I really question whether long video sessions strain the APU the same way as running actual games, which folks usually do for extended periods. I wouldn’t worry about overheating. It should function properly thanks to the provided cooling solution.

Clear and reasonable, though I thought it wise to note it even if it came up in conversation. For the sake of UHD Blu-ray playback, your APU should handle itself on its standard cooler. Even the top OEM 4750G would work just fine with any decent cooler capable of keeping up with a Ryzen 7.

They are primarily desktop chips designed for OEM or prebuilt builds, but some special techniques make them accessible for purchase. Delivery can be slow, though it's worth the wait—especially for the 6-core models, and even the 8-core version (4750g) is a bit pricey. The performance is similar to the third-generation Ryzen (not the second-gen 3400G), featuring Vega graphics. This device seems unfamiliar to anyone used to APUs.

I had the chance to play a game using just integrated graphics and a Noctua cooler. It reached around 100 degrees Celsius quickly, so I turned it off because I didn’t want my PC to overheat.
