I changed the thermal paste roughly two months ago, so it should be okay—it’s CoolerMaster MasterGel Pro, which seems like a solid choice. I’m sure I did it right. Running with the case open and temperatures near 50°C during games is a bit risky because I tend to have more dust inside.

That's quite the issue you're facing. You seem to have a really poor baking oven setup, which is causing the bad temperatures. What kind of case are you using?

The situation is Thermaltake versa n21. You're correct, but since you might upgrade soon and don't know good airflow cases yet, here are a few recommendations.

It varies based on your needs, but I really like the Lian Li O11 Mini Air https://lian-li.com/product/o11-air-mini/. Fractal and Phanteks offer solid airflow options, along with Corsair choices.

I purchased the case, rebuilt my old PC inside it, which gives a better long-term solution instead of opting for a cheaper alternative that might not last.

I just used the open side panel. If you need, you can customize a mesh side panel with some inexpensive neodymium magnets and mosquito mesh. It works well if you have your PC under your desk or just want a side panel. The industrial style it gives fits the case nicely, especially since it's an older model. Dust isn't a big problem—just clean it occasionally and it'll be fine. It's only a hassle if you're not careful.

Thanks for the suggestions! I prefer buying a whole PC without a case since larger discounts are available at the store. It makes sense to keep an open case until I build a new system. It’s a bit ironic that THERMALtake recommends a case that could be bad for thermal performance.

This phrase seems to be a mix of terms related to construction or machinery. It could describe a bulldozer used for driving piles, possibly while handling potatoes.

It's understandable to wonder about this. The distinction between die temperature and TJunc might not be widely recognized yet, so it could simply be an area still developing.

I still have an FX-8350 on an ASUS Sabertooth 900FX R2.0 with a CoolerMaster 212 EVO cooling solution. Idle temperatures sit in the teens (15-18) and gaming ranges from 43 to 51. I had to reapply it a few years ago, but it continues to stay cool today. The GPU is an MSI 970 and the display is 1080p with a CoolerMaster H500p Mesh case. I recommend trying to reapply the thermal paste and checking if it lowers the temperatures as desired.
