have a nice day everyone
i'm facing an issue with overclocking this CPU ((fx 8320e -3.2mhz - 4.0 turbo boost its black edition)). every time i adjust the bios settings, some online sources suggest... before it boots it says ((the last overclocking needs to press f2 to apply defaults or f1 to run setup))
motherboard: msi 990fxa-gaming
i've even tried increasing it from 3.2 to 3.8 without touching the voltage, but it still fails
i'm not sure what to do
my equipment includes: gpu - gtx 1060, ram - 8g hyperx

adjust CPU voltage to 1.35, verify if Vcore is correct under load. If below that, it may indicate Vdroop, meaning the CPU core performance drops when under stress. There might be an option to modify the CPU offset voltage to match the board or CPU droop value. With a multiplier of 22 and a CPU core voltage of 1.35V, the CPU should operate smoothly at 4.4GHz.

There might be an option to modify the CPU offset voltage to match the board or CPU droop value. With a multiplier of 22 and a CPU core voltage of 1.35V, the CPU should operate smoothly at 4.4GHz.

Absolutely, I'm not using the stock cooler. I got a (be quiet pure rock) cooler and I believe it's okay to overclock with this one.
