Hello,
My setup includes an FX-6350 and a MSI GTX 970, everything functions properly. I've also performed some CPU and GPU overclocking.
Asrock 990fx extreme 3 motherboard
FX-6350 stable at 220 (10%) with no voltage increase or stock cooler changes
Two 4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM modules boosted to 1760 MHz
XFX 550 watt power supply
MSI GTX 970 overclock: +130 on core clock / +200 on memory clock / Power capped at 110% (no voltage rise)
I ran a benchmark with Heaven and saw no issues:
CPU stable temperature: 59°C
GPU stable temperature: 71°C
Tip! Turn off AMD turbo core—it can lead to CPU stutter
Hey, what's the maximum OC I can achieve with this motherboard and stock cooler? MSI 760Gm-P34 (FX)

It seems like the motherboard only has 4+1 VRMs and lacks any cooling, so the performance would likely be limited to around 4-4.2 GHz at most.

this situation is clear, but it might not justify a huge investment to improve it, it should remain fully functional.
