hey i found my cpu at 4.5ghz in bios, but the monitor shows 4.3. thermal throttling is off, overheating occurs at 70°C, and i can't run prime95 for over 10 minutes. with a cyorge h7 cooler, i need better cooling. thank you for any advice.

what is the voltage configuration? reducing the voltage decreases the temperature. were you simply adjusting the voltage without careful consideration, or did you gradually increase the frequency until it failed, then applying a small voltage while further increasing the frequency to cause failure (using minimal voltage possible)?

I couldn't recall the voltige at first, but I did a big change to it so it wouldn't fail. Then I gradually reduced the voltige until it stopped, and finally adjusted it again.

i'm having trouble with 4.75 volts, i managed to lower it to reduce heat, but anything under that causes freezing during prime95. is there a method to reach 4.6?
