AMD FX 6300 OC-Help
Hello, this is my first time writing here... I'm not very familiar with this topic, could you help?
I want to overclock the CPU. The system is an AMD FX 6300 with a Gigabyte 970A-UD3 rev 1.2 motherboard and an Artic cooler freezer 13 Pro. The max temperature is 50°C according to the prime95 test. I need to know what needs to be adjusted: the CPU clock ratio or the CPU northbridge frequency.
For the CPU control voltage, I already know I need to increase it.
Please help, thank you! If possible, let me know what steps to take. I should aim for 4.2 after 4.50. If you can tell me how to proceed, that would be great.
TY
Start by adjusting the CPU clock multiplier in BIOS, turning off turbo mode. Click once to raise the multiplier. Save and boot into Windows. Perform a stress test using Intel Burn Test at default settings while monitoring core temperatures. Continue until the OC stabilizes (temperatures within acceptable range). If stability fades, fine-tune the vcore in BIOS, aiming for low voltage (around 1.5v) to achieve the target OC.

CPU clock multiplier is either the CPU clock ratio or the CPU northbridge frequency. Sorry, I'm not sure... Thanks for the answer.
