Chugalug_:
Understood. Are you completely confident about an EK configuration? I can provide you with 1080Ti SLI if needed. Also, unless you're doing rendering or editing on an i7, the i7 is the superior option.
I want to record both streaming and gameplay simultaneously. This will also be useful for creating and editing videos.

photonboy :
Here are a few quick notes while setting up the build:
1) Expecting the R5-1600 Ryzen processor probably?
2) Monitors: should be a 4K, 23.6" display? (Budget check later, but a 2560x1440 with GSYNC and 144Hz seems ideal...)
3) 16GB DDR4 memory recommended, not 8GB.
Let’s see what fits the budget... (US dollars assumed?)
Yes for the usda

Also includes the Cablemod E series for cables.
Much better quality.
You need two GPU rails? Just run through one loop, install a pre-filled water block for the 1080, and use the 360 separately with flex tubing connecting the rail to the CPU and back to the rail.

This is just an example of a mini-ITX build tailored for GSYNC. Some components like the case are based on personal preference. I'm not sure if that liquid cooler is ideal, though I should consider the noise level of liquid coolers since some can be too loud.
If this doesn't match your expectations, please clarify why.
Otherwise, I added an M.2 SSD; using a 2.5" one leaves the M.2 slot unused. Intel Optane as cache is a cool choice and has been reviewed. You might want to keep it open.
I installed a 250GB SSD with a 3TB HDD. A 1TB SSD is fine, but with a weaker CPU and GPU, I wouldn't prioritize it much—since it mainly speeds up game loading at the cost of performance in actual gaming.

Obtain these items and connect QDC to the pre-filled block. The links provided are for reference. Alternatively, you can cut out the 240mm radius if you prefer to handle it yourself. The price appears quite steep.

Jack_242:
This mini build seems interesting
It's quite similar to the one I built, though I added a GSYNC monitor and made some other adjustments.
My budget feels a bit unclear. I'm puzzled about choosing just an i5-7600K — it's decent, but it's already lagging, so I'd prefer the i7-7700K instead.
Window:
Consider the lighting. I selected RGB DDR4 memory because it matches the Asus Strix design. You can adjust the lighting, which matters especially with a window, or you might not mind.

The foam was designed to evaluate its impact on haptic feedback performance.

Remaining focused, this is the full build I’m using. It supports 4k but experiences random stutters, which makes gaming frustrating when FPS drops below 60.

Photonboy shared his thoughts on the project. He found the mini build appealing and noted it closely matches his previous setup, with some adjustments like adding a GSYNC monitor and other tweaks. He mentioned confusion about the budget choice, preferring an i7-7700K over the i5-7600K despite its decent performance. He also discussed the lighting setup, opting for RGB DDR4 memory similar to his Asus Strix, and chose RGB Corsair components. He explained the decision was based on being a gaming-focused mini PC in a living room environment.
