I'll try that, though the stutters don't appear to be linked to CPU intensity. I've attempted to cause them by loading demanding scenes in Blender while the CPU is active, but it hasn't helped. The machine only stutters a couple of times daily, unpredictably, and it takes a long time to notice anything.

It occurred once more, with all CPU cores handling similar tasks. One core was slightly more demanding but nearly identical to the rest. I also reached out to ASUS support via email, trying a few solutions before they responded with concerns about the W11 and the lack of integrated Wi-Fi on the ROG Strix B550-F motherboard. Eventually, I decided to disable FTPM temporarily and hope others face similar problems.

You're experiencing the same problem with your 3900x and MSI MEG Unify x570 board. It's possible fTPM activated it, though you can't recall the trigger. You might want to turn it off temporarily until you're sure.

so I'm not the only one. and at least for me I'm 100% sure its caused by fTPM, I turned it off 2 days ago and no stuttering so far. the ASUS support people stopped replying to my emails, not that it matters because the guy was trying to bullshit me, extra points for also misspelling "student". if you find a solution please share.

Additionally, if the issue persists across various motherboards, it might relate to the 3900x and 3900xt chips. I’m hoping someone with more advanced diagnostic capabilities examines this further.

I've disabled it for a while and stuttering stopped. It looks like the problem is with 3900x/xt, though if others using different Ryzen models have the same issue, let me know. I'm not planning to upgrade to Windows 11 anytime soon, so I'll keep it off.

Experiencing similar issues myself. Running on an R5 3600 with an MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus board. Occasional stutters even during light work. Fixes completely when I turn off fTPM ://

Have you discovered any method to cause the stutter? I've tested various approaches but encountered minimal information about TPM online.

I created a simulation of the stutter effects and visuals in Adobe Premiere for clearer understanding. 579959090_2021-07-1601-44-57.mp4
