AMD Flex Mode
AMD Flex Mode
I checked your setup and confirmed it uses three sticks of RAM. On your AsRock x370 gaming K4 board with a Ryzen 7 3800X, flex mode typically starts with the dual-channel memory first, then switches to single-channel once the dual channel capacity is exhausted.
I think today's CPUs function similarly, using dual channels until memory is exhausted, then switching to single channel on the remaining stick. This setup isn't perfect, and I'd really steer clear if the sticks have varying capacities, as I've experienced some odd issues with flex mode on mismatched ones before. Of course, this was a while back and it was Intel rather than AMD.
