How is AMD DVR performing for you? The update brings a new feature called "no performance cost," which caught my attention. However, I’ve noticed some users are encountering problems. What specific issues have you faced?
When I first tried it, everything functioned smoothly except for some mistakes I made while recording the audio. The performance was almost perfect, though there was a small impact on quality. If I need better results, I’ll switch to MSI Afterburner. It might have changed a lot after using it with this setup.
So far not very good. I didn't see a performance hit while gaming, but the recorded video was very choppy. I won't completely blame AMD's DVR since I wasn't using a preset and I was only using a single HD 7770, but the settings I selected were reasonable and the encoder should be able to handle 1080p regardless of the card. I'll do more testing when I replace the pump in my system.
