How is AMD DVR performing for you? The update brings a new feature called "no performance cost," which caught my attention. However, I’ve noticed some users are encountering problems. What specific issues have you faced?

When I first tried it, everything functioned smoothly except for some mistakes I made while recording the audio. The performance was almost perfect, though there was a small impact on quality. If I need better results, I’ll switch to MSI Afterburner. It might have changed a lot after using it with this setup.

So far not very good. I didn't see a performance hit while gaming, but the recorded video was very choppy. I won't completely blame AMD's DVR since I wasn't using a preset and I was only using a single HD 7770, but the settings I selected were reasonable and the encoder should be able to handle 1080p regardless of the card. I'll do more testing when I replace the pump in my system. Things I'll try before I call it complete crap: Using a preset Using V-Sync(since my game was at 150+ FPS) Different resolutions Newer GPU Wait for it to get out of beta

I believe I'll try Dxtory or MSI Afterburner. As long as I can achieve 15 minutes of 720p at 30 FPS and get a 700MB file, it should be perfect!

Yes, it's feasible to run a 15-minute session at 720p with 30 FPS while generating a 700 MB file.

I’d consider testing the DVR, though if it encounters issues then another option could be better. My configuration wasn’t perfect, so complications were anticipated based on my setup.

If it works smoothly, then it's fine.

Back then, my dual 7950s were the worst I'd owned. ShadowPlay really stands out for its ease of use and reliability.
