I recently purchased some B-die RAM, but it was a bit of a spontaneous decision. With DDR5 arriving, the investment seems less worthwhile now. Still, I’m keen on upgrading my CPU eventually. Both Ryzen and Intel CPUs appeal to me for different reasons. Which one will give you the most advantages with your B-drame RAM? Thanks!

It seems like you're grappling with supply issues and uncertainty about future availability. The demand for a Zen 3 processor is growing, but stock problems are making it tough to secure what you need. You're right to be concerned about whether AMD will ramp up production.

Stock levels should recover in a few months. Otherwise, they'll remain low until then.

Check Aliexpress, rather than waiting for stocks, why not wait for the shipment. A little expensive tho.

Choosing a CPU that matches RAM seems a bit confusing. The main appeal of B-die was its ability to be overclocked. When you enable XMP, the choice of CPU becomes less important. It really shines when you dive into manual overclocking. I enjoy working with Intel’s memory controller more because it offers a sense of challenge, though stability concerns make it risky for everyday use. AMD CPUs and B-die are quite similar now—except for the fact that early Ryzen models struggled with RAM performance, making it hard to run at decent speeds. AMD has improved significantly since then, and most RAM works well in practice. There’s no need to hunt for B-die anymore.

I genuinely believe Intel would perform better with RAM speed. I prefer AMD, but pushing Intel's overclocking offers greater satisfaction.

AMD can reach very high frequencies using B-Die. Woomack from OCF has likely achieved this multiple times—check his memory threads. My colleagues have also reported speeds up to around 4800mhz.

Woomack is a creature. Gaining a third of what it has acquired would bring me satisfaction. Note: I understand AMD can reach fast speeds, but it's not a perfect match; I haven't tested a current Intel, so perhaps I shouldn't discuss this topic.
