My PC failed to start and BIOS displayed abnormal voltage levels. Temperatures were also inaccurate. Steps taken: removed CMOS battery and reset BIOS, but no improvement. Updated BIOS with ASUS EZ Flash without success. Switched to a different power supply to check PSU involvement, but motherboard still showed wrong readings. Disabled voltage monitoring in BIOS and the system worked normally. Under heavy load, CPU temperature stayed below 75°C. Any solutions? Should I keep using BIOS with monitoring off? Would it be wise to buy an external stabilizer or UPS for protection against surges? PC specs: Asus B350-Plus (BIOS v5606), AMD R3 3300X, 2x8GB RAM at 2666MHz, Gigabyte B700H 700W Bronze OS, Windows 10 Home 21H2. Screenshots available.

The initial B350 units didn’t perform exceptionally well, and it seems like a sensor malfunctioned.

You're safe without voltage monitoring enabled, but running the system at full voltage could still risk damage during a power surge. It's better to be cautious.

You might safely turn off voltage monitoring, as it could have caused damage before now. Regarding a power surge, I’m not prone to surges, but using a surge protector should protect your system.

That’s the outcome you receive after obtaining four hours of rest.

You're experiencing the same problem with your ASUS PRIME B450M-A II even after disabling CPU voltage monitoring. Try adjusting the settings in the monitor's monitoring menu to see if that resolves the issue. If not, consider checking other configuration options or consulting the manufacturer's support resources.
