Hey everyone, I've put everything together for my handbrake station. I'm using an R5 3600x, a gt730 for video output, a single stick HyperX Cloud 3000 with 15GB, and an ASUS Turbo B550 Plus. I was trying to figure out how to adjust the memory settings for the right frequency and clock speed—changed the auto setting to 3000, but all the timings dropped. The CL is now set to 22. Also, I'm curious about the ASUS Performance Enhancement feature. What should I tweak? The cooling unit is a Zalman CNPS9X.

Adjust just one setting: enable XMP. When you manually configure the frequency with auto mode, the board selects its own timing, which isn't ideal here.

It's not exclusively XMP for AMD, though it's common there. Intel is the original name for that feature. As for performance, it depends on the specific model and configuration.

It varies by motherboard. DOCP refers to the same concept. Just make sure it's turned on, and it will automatically set the RAM to the XMP rated speed, timing, and voltage.
