I dont know if this is a post that goes here BUT can someone tell me why Both AMD and NVIDIA can not restock? and REMEMBER they new about not having all the parts they needed so why did they not hold off a year? or something like that makes them all look bad

When new CPUs or GPUs are released, it often takes 2 to 4 months for prices to stabilize and become widely accessible. Be gentle, young one.

I understand your concern, but it seems they’re both unable to meet even 10% of the demand. What’s the reason behind this? Why start now?

Paper releases consistently... they rarely meet the required supply for needs... this is simply how the tech sector operates. It has always been this way, and will continue to be so... it occurs across all areas of the tech world, from hardware to smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, headphones, and more. It's just the nature of things.

They aim to boost demand and raise prices, but if the MSRP remains unchanged, there doesn’t seem to be a clear benefit. I’m hoping someone will make a video about this topic.

It doesn't require multiple cores if they only have 6 cores available.

Before the release, reviews often mention the MSRP figures. In Belgium and the Netherlands, we notice both card prices have risen by 100 to 200 euros. Recently, an RTX 3070 (Strix) was found at 799 euros, surpassing the MSRP of the RTX 3080 (749 euros). In contrast, an RTX 3080 can be purchased between 850 and 1100 euros, while the RTX 3090 reaches up to 2k. Going back to my initial point, the price-to-performance ratios are currently significantly off.

they aren't pushing hard to boost demand right now. however, producing millions of chips is a slow process. it doesn't make sense for them to postpone a product launch for six months just so sellers can build up large inventories while they themselves could release sooner and maintain a consistent supply.
