Hey, I see you're diving into the world of Intel overclocking. It's a bit tricky since you're used to manual voltage settings without offsets. After upgrading from the 6700K to the 5500, you're trying to undervolt it using AMD Master. The BIOS only shows an offset for the voltage changes, which isn't very helpful. You might need to set a specific offset like 0.170 to get the desired voltage. It's definitely not intuitive at first, but with practice, you'll figure it out. Good luck!

In BIOS, PBO, manual Curve Optimizer, adjust all values to -30. For crashes, prioritize best cores at -20 then -15.

You're checking the meaning of some numbers related to your ASUS B450 Plus II. Let me break it down for you. -30 could refer to a temperature reading or a value in a system, while "etc." might mean additional details or context you need. Let me know if you want further clarification!

i personally have no clue when it comes to dynamic overclocks so ill just give some reference for manual voltage Set 1.15v medium/no llc, see whats the highest max stable freq you can get, then proceed to do the same for 1.25v and 1.35v Once voltage scaling starts to drop off try for a middle setting like 1.3v or 1.2v This will give you best v/f, lowest voltage for the highest freq, basically you are searching for the optimal setting that is right before you hit diminishing returns

It could turn out worse than Curve Optimizer if OP decides to push the stock boost clock. Still, that’s the traditional low-voltage approach. Optimum Tech provided a much better explanation of what PBO does and how to safely undervolt using it.

I set it to an undervolt of 30, but somehow it started at 1.5 volts instead.

it looked like turning off the PBO limits resolved the undervoltage issue.
