Hello, the approach here is quite similar to overclocking but with a focus on heavy undervolting. I'm just exploring what can be achieved and interested in how such experiments might influence future developments. My setup includes: CPU - AMD 7900X, GPU - RTX 3060ti, RAM - 2x16GB at 5600Mhz, CL36, 1.25v MoBo, MSI Pro B650-P with Wi-Fi. The aim is to maximize performance per watt. I've referenced an article that discusses reducing power consumption in gaming setups: https://hothardware.com/news/how-to-cut-...mance-loss. The main challenge is that the voltage cap limits efficiency, especially during multi-threaded tasks like Cinebench or rendering in DaVinci Resolve, where CPU draws 100W but only a few cores reach their full speed. My plan is to identify the optimal voltage for the highest clock speeds, lower it gradually, and track performance drops. After that, I'll compare power usage versus output to see what works best.
