Question the processor stability at 2000 MHz, that’s ideal for optimal performance. If your memory operates at 2000 but the clock frequency isn’t matching, you’ll likely see only about two-thirds of what you expect. I’d recommend replacing the RAM since it’s far superior in every aspect compared to your current setup.

I wouldn’t reinstall the old RAM if you need 64GB. Lower the clock speed to 3600 or 3800 based on your processor capabilities, then improve latency as much as possible. Use a 1.25v SOIC and check the compatible chips to locate a tuning guide. If you can get a 1800 MHz clock, set RAM to 3600; if you reach 1900, set it to 3800.

This approach isn't suitable for the 5900X. The SOC architecture on Zen 2/3 differs significantly from Zen 4, making it much more sensitive to voltage changes. Running at 1.25V for over a week would likely cause irreversible damage, reducing stability. For optimal CPU performance, maintain the voltage below 1.2V to preserve health, and aim for around 1.15V on most processors.
