I just installed bf4 today and was seeing around 47-60 fps on ultra. I'm considering boosting my graphics card gtx 960 but I'm unsure if I have sufficient power.

Using a gtx960 with an fx 6300 pairing improves frame rates more effectively when using CPU over GPU. Regarding power consumption, the system draws around 200w overall, 120w for the GPU, leaving room to adjust. With a decent CPU cooler, reaching 4.1-4.3GHz is possible and should keep performance in the 60s.
