Hello, here’s a description of my computer configuration:

I purchased this PC approximately four to five years ago. The only components I've replaced are an upgraded graphics card and increased RAM from 16GB to 32GB.

Case: NZXT PHANTOM 410 WHITE GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU): Intel® Core™ i7 Quad-Core Processor i7-4790 (3.6GHz) with 8MB of cache
Motherboard: ASUS® Z97-P: ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s
Memory (RAM): 16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X FURY DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (4 x 8GB)
Graphics Card: 8 GB GeForce RTX 2070
Second Graphics Card: None
Storage Drives:
1st Drive: 120GB SAMSUNG 650 SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (up to 540MB/s read | 450MB/s write)
2nd Drive: N/A
3rd Drive: N/A
4th Drive: N/A
Operating System: Windows 10
I use two monitors.

After performing some diagnostics using Task Manager, my primary game, Escape from Tarkov, produces frame rates that fluctuate between 40 and 100 FPS, with higher numbers typically occurring on smaller maps like the Factory. The graphics card operates at approximately 40-60% utilization, while the CPU consistently runs around 40-60%, mostly at 40%.

I’m considering an upgrade to an i5-9600K processor, but this would necessitate a new motherboard due to compatibility issues with the socket size. I believe that both the CPU and GPU should ideally operate at 90-100% utilization. Any advice on potential upgrades or strategies for improving my system’s performance would be greatly appreciated.

I did get a bit carried away discussing the RTX graphics card.

Thanks,
Connor

Could you provide the CPU utilization per core? If any individual core or thread reaches 100%, that represents the maximum speed of the game. When seeing usage levels between 40-60%, it’s possible two threads are operating at full capacity.

During installation, please install MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner Aqua. Subsequently, activate the On-Screen Display (OSD) within Afterburner to display a variety of data. Furthermore, Steam may also offer an OSD for your game collection.

This allows you to monitor RAM, graphics card, CPU cores, and temperatures while playing games. If you're attempting to play in windowed mode and track usage, this is helpful. However, it’s typically not required if you are utilizing multiple monitors; you can keep HWMonitor open on a secondary display.

The proposed development aims to transform the existing site into a vibrant mixed-use space, incorporating retail offerings alongside residential units. This redesign seeks to address the area’s current needs by providing much-needed housing and stimulating local commerce. The design prioritizes pedestrian access and integrates green spaces to create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. Furthermore, it incorporates sustainable elements to minimize environmental impact and enhance community well-being.
