Someone... assist me. Please, I own a Gateway GWTC116-2BL purchased on eBay for $53. It was supposed to be fully functional, but the touchscreen didn’t work, so I planned to return it. The seller refunded me and told me to keep it, which means I now have a free laptop. I reinstalled from the BIOS backup and suddenly the touchscreen worked. However, the x-axis is flipped. When you press Start, you see Recycle Bin, etc. I’ve tried everything suggested by others. Restarted drivers, turned them back on, disabled hidden touch features, wiped and reinstalled Windows several times, even tried Windows 11 and 10. Still facing the same issue. I’ve searched extensively, and this appears to be a known problem related to a touchsetting.gt file located in win/windows/inf. I’m struggling to get it to save properly and I suspect there’s a small text file somewhere that might fix it. Any advice would be incredibly appreciated.
