I managed to get OBS to function properly. Previously, there was a problem with resolution scaling where parts of the screen wouldn't display correctly, and some content wasn't captured at all (downscaling to ~720p fixed that). I'm not sure if these settings are ideal, but the bitrate is set to 10,000kb/s at 60 fps in 720p with X264 encoding—super fast on my FX-6300, though it might be better suited in a separate thread.
