I just installed an SSD and performed a fresh setup, adjusting some configurations. Now, upon starting up, something unexpected occurs—without any interaction, the system displays a specific screen instead of the expected one. I have to navigate back using the arrow keys before reaching the correct login page.

If its already a fresh install. I would just re-install Probably a way of fixing it but it's just easier to re-install.

Your product key should remain valid as long as it hasn't expired or been revoked.

As long as it runs on the same hardware, that's all that matters.

You're essentially creating a bootable USB drive with your formatted SSD and HDD, then launching Windows from it.

Navigate to the charm on the right side, select settings, then choose PC Settings. Proceed to update and recovery, click Recovery, and finally tap Start under the "Remove everything and re-install windows" option.

Hey there, you're absolutely right! Just make sure to back up first, then proceed with the recovery process.

That sounds much simpler... I thought I'd have to begin from scratch, but it's great!

When I click it... it displays "Insert Media," and a few files are missing. Your Windows Recovery will supply these files.
