Hi Everyone, Long time not here, first time up. For a laugh I made a basic install script to set up Pi-hole on Windows 10’s WSL environment. No containers, no virtual machines, no physical Pi needed—just run the script and tick a few boxes for it to start automatically at boot. It works on most Windows 10 machines, even older CPUs without virtualization support, or even with Hyper-V Server 2019 for a free option. A simpler alternative is to run a standalone Linux VM or container, but that’s already common. This method keeps Pi-hole running alongside your Windows, like having a few Linux tools on your laptop. Check it out: https://github.com/DesktopECHO/Pi-Hole-for-WSL1 Cheers, D.

Hi there. Your site is helpful, but it can be a bit complex for me. I'm trying to set up Pi-hole in Docker on Windows, and I'm really struggling. I'm not very comfortable with Linux, so I need some guidance. Hope you can understand and assist me. I've spent three full days reading, copying, and trying to fix everything, but it's all going wrong. I'm a bit confused because the instructions seem too advanced for me. Do you have any step-by-step guides? I've pasted many scripts, but nothing works. I was hoping to use a Raspberry Pi, but it didn't work out. Thanks for your help!
