I'm planning to assemble a new PC and want to postpone the GPU. I need to find a GPU that matches the performance of the 7600's integrated graphics.

you need a low performance GPU because it's designed for basic tasks and won't handle demanding workloads well.

I need a more powerful machine, so I’ll construct it without a dedicated GPU and then add one later once I’ve saved more funds.

You're asking about using igpu and feeling unsure. Let me clarify: What do you mean by "just use igpu then?" Are you trying to understand how to access it or something else?

It's around 6400, which is the most affordable option for a current GPU.

Performance is similar to a GT 1030 DDR4 version. For tasks beyond the simplest games, opt for the R5 5600G or R7 5700G—they offer roughly double the speed.

It seems you're asking about the performance of IGUP. Could you clarify what specific aspect you're interested in?

I wasn't aware AMD affected newer iGPU versions. The 5000 series remains the top choice currently.

The 5700G remains the top choice for desktop GPUs. On mobile, they're still releasing decent iGPUs, and I'm sure the 7840 series offers the strongest options currently. I don't follow the laptop market as closely, so I won't comment on that. This is why they're rebranding their desktop CPUs as just CPUs rather than APUs, since the focus is on delivering good graphics for displays and streaming. As far as I understand, they're still working on a line of APUs for business customers that could eventually reach the PC enthusiast community, which would likely feature the best desktop GPUs.
