Hello, I'm trying to send a Lightroom program to check my Android phone for photos in a particular folder. It works fine with folders on a PC, USB, or external drive, but when I try to get a direct link to the phone's internal storage, it just shows generic options like "phone type" and doesn't recognize the connection. I need a way to get a normal file path so the app can access the folder properly.

i believe it's due to the computer actually knowing the difference between external storage and a phone. tmk the pc has to have a driver specifically for a mobile device in use in order to access internal storage and can't do that if it tries to just use a driver for any external storage. not sure if theres a way to trick a pc into thinking a phone is only a drive.
