Greetings, I’m sharing details about my system:

Intel Core i7-6700K
16GB RAM
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming

First, apologies for any awkward phrasing due to my limited English proficiency. After upgrading from a GTX 970 to a 1080 (at 1080p resolution), I’ve experienced occasional pauses and stuttering with frame rate drops, particularly in games like Assassin's Creed: Origins and during benchmark tests. The FPS fluctuates from around 90-85 down to 55-60 for approximately two or three seconds. Given my hardware configuration, I expected smoother performance at 1080p, ideally exceeding 60 frames per second in all games. Could you help me understand the cause of this issue? Is it related to software conflicts, or is there a problem with either my CPU or GPU?
