This problem has been ongoing for a while now (since I added an Elden Ring mod to my PC). It causes my games to crash, especially in lower-tier titles, but other apps work fine. When I switch programs, it still fails. My PC is top-of-the-range, yet the issue persists. I suspect the slow Wi-Fi might be the cause—my current provider is unreliable. I don’t want my dad to pay for a new internet plan or upgrade. The browser keeps freezing during YouTube videos or when loading games, but everything runs smoothly otherwise. Can someone clarify why loading times and crashes happen?

When reviewing the situation, it would help to clarify the next steps. I’ve noted that adding proper formatting with periods and clear paragraphs could improve readability. Regarding diagnostics, we should assess the system’s current behavior, check for error logs, and verify connectivity. If possible, having access to a more detailed hardware list—such as network interfaces, storage devices, or power supplies—would be beneficial for a thorough analysis.

I verified all my drivers are current.
My Wi-Fi connection appears normal.
Anti-virus scan found no threats.
I’ve restarted my computer several times.
Checked for updates and believe that’s sufficient.
My system specifications:

Restart Windows and avoid reinstalling the game mods to check for stability in the updated setup.
