I switched from a 2700 to a 5800X and discovered all four RAM sticks had issues during testing. They were running at their XMP settings and rated voltage, but they’re all the same age (around 6-8 months) and are Corsair Vengeance LX models. The tests passed without XMP enabled, and I checked with a different 8GB stick to confirm it worked. What’s likely happening? Could there be another factor at play?

The evaluations took place at 2133mhz using standard timing and voltage settings, ensuring no other factors were involved. The XMP operates at 3200Mhz with frequency settings of 16-20-20-38.

I believe Corsair LPX sometimes doesn't hit the advertised speeds. This could be the problem. Verify if your CPU has any bent pins and experiment with different RAM slots on your motherboard.

However even at spd speeds the CPU is okay. I checked all the RAM slots and they behave the same. I also tried the fourth stick and it works fine, but three out of four have some bad cells. EDIT: I was running the multithreaded test, single threading seems to pass.

It turned out the CPU was the issue. The 5800X Prime95 large FFT didn't complete in 2-3 minutes, so I switched to the 2700. Prime95 didn't fail with it. On the 5800X, cores 2 and 4 often failed, and sometimes core 3 too, even when fully stocked.
