Do you see 144 frames per second? That likely depends on your CPU performance at that resolution. I’ve been playing Fallen Order at ultra settings on a 60Hz 1920*1200 display, and my GPU didn’t even increase fan speed until I enabled triple screen mode.

Over 144 units I receive approximately 200 in BF 5 CPU, 100% GPU usage and 30% CPU load.

The problem lies in your graphics configuration, which is set too low to utilize the GPU. The performance you're seeing matches or exceeds expectations for a 9700K at those settings: https://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/2258

All ultra-GPU models fall short of 40%, so it's best to switch to an AMD instead.

Respectfully, at 144fps it doesn’t seem like switching to AMD will provide any extra benefits. Check the benchmarks—every CPU is the bottleneck in 1080p.

FPS isn't an issue, I'd like to run more applications in the background but this CPU isn't handling it well. Also, I can't overclock it.

I faced the same issue you did. What should I do to resolve this?
