About 20 minutes ago I started my computer to play Payday 2. It seems all my Steam games are missing, even though they’re still installed. I don’t want to reinstall everything and I’m not sure if my connection or speed is enough. Could you help me? My system has an Intel i7 4770K, an ASUS Z87-A GTX 970, a G1 gaming graphics card, 16GB of Kingston DDR3 RAM, etc.

Ensure your Steam installation path remains connected to your setup directory. You might also remove all items in your Steam folder except Steam.exe (the app listed under 'Type' in Steamapps), which holds your game files, and optionally delete any Userdata files if they’re not needed.

1. Attempt to restart. 2. Install one of the games that previously worked and check for original files. 3. Verify the game directories appear in Steam.

I've explored the initial option and decided to expand on point #3 in greater depth.

Verify your steam configurations to ensure it recognizes a steam library presence.
