all my usb ports aren't working. I've tested several mice, but one port only connects briefly at certain angles before stopping again—what should I do? Is there a wireless mouse option that doesn't need any plug-in? Not having a mouse really limits what I can do. My computer is an acer with windows 10.

Get your laptop to a service center.
USB port needs to be replaced. It is shorting out currently.
Do not turn your laptop on, until this is fixed.
Also can you show photo of the broken port?
You're showing two ports, that are not broken.
