I'm not sure if it's me or if most MMO games have a time window (weekend) when it's best to update stats since many players are inactive during that period. If it is, how can I handle it while playing in that time? Or should I avoid playing altogether?

My concern was about finding ways to encourage a good attitude and collaboration while working with players who are not performing well. It’s about maintaining the win without letting it affect the team's performance. If needed, it might be better to step away in the worst cases. Apologies for the language issues—I’m not fluent in English.

Only through interaction with your own friends can this happen. Randomness will remain unpredictable forever.

It might get even worse. It could be Rocketleague.

I handle it and instruct them on how to play even if they lack knowledge of mechanics.

Every match attracts a lot of new players over the weekend, since that's when regular people and students finally have time to unwind and play games.
My advice is: bring some friends along and enjoy the fun, and avoid playing ranked solo queue because you're likely to face poor teammates.

I say just be patient and help them out.  We were all there at some point.
I play FFXIV casually and so far it's been a very friendly community for the most part.  I don't have a ton of time to play and there's always someone willing to explain a boss mechanic if I'm unsure what to do.  Granted I'm not doing endgame raiding as I'm sure the expectations are a bit higher at level.
