I question if the issue lies with the hardware, especially the CPU. The 5600X doesn’t seem to handle games from 2003 well. Could you confirm the exact cooler model? Also, what temperatures are typical for the GPU in that setup?

Cooler Master MWE white v2 temps work well. I've set up a custom fan curve. GPU stays at 68°C, with a peak of 83°C.

The 83C hotspot feels really nice, and the power supply unit works well as well, which makes me think there might be an issue similar to what @PDifolco mentioned.

I'm not sure, but Space Marine 2 and Unbound are running well over 90% CPU. My friend with the same CPU and RX 6900 XT sees only 70% usage when switching from 1440p to 1080p. I don’t have any background apps except Discord while playing!

The likelihood of stuttering increases significantly near 100%, though it’s unclear if Space Marine 2 is heavily taxing the CPU or if other factors are involved. The system’s performance may vary depending on the disk used—whether it’s the game drive or the Windows drive.

On my M.2 SSD, both drives are functioning properly.

Have you verified your memory capacity? If you're using two modules, only one is active at a time. Are you experiencing low memory while gaming?

Not necessarily all games stutter; some are designed to run smoothly even on low-power devices.

Valheim requires approximately 8 gigabytes, whereas SM2 and Unbound consume 12 to 13 gigabytes.

Valheim requires around 8 gigabytes, whereas SM2 and Unbound consume 12-13 gigabytes. I haven't tried any older titles recently, but so far I've played Valheim, SM2, Deep Rock Galactic, GTA 5, and Unbound, all of which have experienced stutters.
