I recently installed a new system using the Z170A-PRO with an i5-6500 and 8GB DDR4 RAM. Initially, everything functioned correctly until I swapped out my old graphics card and connected the monitor via the onboard VGA port. That's when I encountered a 'No Signal' error. After performing all troubleshooting steps, nothing has resolved the issue. Updated: I also replaced the new RAM, but the display still doesn't appear on the motherboard. Now I have two main possibilities: 1) The motherboard is faulty (about 40% chance)—no beeps when powering it on and no signal on the screen, along with a spinning fan and an error beep when removing the RAM. 2) The processor itself is defective. I purchased this i5-6500 less than a year ago without any power spikes, display errors, or signs of failure. The motherboard no longer emits CPU error beeps or LEDs. I'm uncertain if it's truly a faulty CPU. The service center doesn't have spare processors available for testing on my board, and I don't have one either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Prior to this, I hadn't adjusted BIOS settings after removing the GPU; everything functioned normally. However, upon reviewing the BIOS and checking the onboard GPU adapter, I found it was active. When I detached the GPU and connected it to an onboard monitor, no signal was detected. I contacted the service center, which returned my board after a few days, stating they had updated the BIOS and there were no hardware issues. After repairing the motherboard at the service center, I noticed no display appeared. They further tested my CPU and installed new RAM on other boards, all experiencing the same issue. They concluded that either the CPU or RAM was faulty, despite replacing the RAM. The problem seems to stem from a BIOS or motherboard fault, as per their assessment. Beep codes indicated normal operation when RAM and CPU were installed, but removing RAM triggered a beep and indicated failure. The board displayed LEDs, fans ran, and connectors appeared intact, yet no signal reached the monitor.

Hi, thank you for your message. However, I’m still not seeing any display even though the GPU is active. I didn’t realize it was mentioned before. This issue occurred after the board was taken back from the service center.

I've already tried taking out all components and putting them back together, plus resetting the CMOS. That didn't help either. I also wanted to mention that the service center checked my CPU and RAM on other boards, but they couldn't confirm the details about my RAM and CPU.

RAM was already replaced and it still didn’t function. The CPU has been sent to Intel for a new installation, which should take about 15 days. I’m hoping everything resolves smoothly.

Have you discovered a solution yet? You're still using the same motherboard with the identical problem. All your troubleshooting attempts have failed.
