I constructed a new machine that functioned properly for three to four months before experiencing a crash that caused it to shut down. After restarting, I encountered problems with games, which would crash to the desktop after 5 to 15 minutes of play. The system operates normally outside of games, where it frequently freezes. I've tried replacing the graphics card, memory, motherboard, and hard drive, as well as reinstalling Windows. I ran MemTest64 without any issues. The games would close immediately, and the computer would restart afterward (unless I started a game). The only recurring error I recall was a "memory could not be read" message from World of Warcraft following the crash, but this issue occurs in all the games I've tested. I'm struggling to identify the root cause and would value any assistance in resolving this problem.

Hi Rvoz, I'm facing a nearly identical issue. I haven't found a solution yet, but I can share what I've discovered so far and hope someone else can assist. Essentially, it seems to be a GPU-related problem connected to corruption that isn't resolved by simply reinstalling drivers.

Specs
- MOBO: Micro-Star International Co. Ltd. PRO B650-P WIFI (MS-7D78) (AM5)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
- RAM: G.Skill Flare x5 16gb (x2)

I resolved my problem by checking a tip that XMP (RAM Overclocking) could be the reason, possibly due to the GPU not getting enough access. I opened the UEFI and set my RAM to disable overclocking, which stopped the crashes so far. I can't stress test it tonight.

It seems the fixes might have improved stability, though it's unclear if I fully grasped the issue. Overclocking RAM to address GPU or disk read problems doesn't seem logical to me. I'd appreciate someone explaining it better.
