Hello! I'm a beginner builder and just began my first project. When testing the rig to power it up before placing it in the case, the GPU didn't respond at all—its RGB lights stayed on but there were no fans or any activity. I'm checking if others have faced the same issue and wondering if my card is faulty. I recently purchased it new, so I'm trying to rule out a defective part, but I need a clearer answer than what forums provided. My specs are: motherboard Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite, CPU Ryzen 5 5500, GPU MSI 6700XT, PSU EVGA 750 GQ, 80+ GOLD 750W. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

HDMI connection works well; however, DP connections can occasionally face problems. Fans might not always start up properly for the GPU, since it’s built to run at high speeds until reaching 60°C.

Sadly I've already tested both options, it seems like the GPU is faulty. I'm still looking for advice. Since my motherboard isn't high-end, there are no LED indicators or status lights showing which component is failing. I wish I had considered that earlier. Please let me know if anyone has alternative ideas or suggestions—I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
