Hello everyone, I'm working on assembling a PC and my GPU isn't sending a signal to the monitor. All fans are spinning—both in the case and the GPU. I've tried using both PCIe slots, swapped PSU cables, and tested various HDMI cables. I made sure it wasn't connected to the motherboard. Here are the specs: CPU - Ryzen 5600X, Cooler - Vetroo v5, Motherboard - MSI B550 Tomahawk Max Carbon Pro Wifi, GPU - MSI 3070 Ventus x2, RAM - OLOy 16x12 3200Hz, PSU - Segotemp 750W Gold Case, Case - NZXT H510 Elite. Whenever I power on the system, the monitor turns on automatically due to auto wake and then shuts off again. The debug lights cycle but get stuck on the boot light. Could this stop me from getting a display?
Insert your USB installer and see if it remains unresponsive during boot. You should receive a screen even with a boot drive present. It seems your RAM might be placed in the wrong slot—check that it’s positioned correctly. The empty slots indicate a single channel, not dual channel. Based on what you described, CPU iixx is likely correct, and the issue could be with the RAM placement.
Make sure you're getting a display at this stage. How are you linking your monitor to the GPU? Are you certain the input settings on your monitor are correct (especially if you have several options)? Are you certain you're not using a directional cable and just connecting it in reverse? The system appears to detect your GPU or the VGA light should remain on. As IkeaGnome suggested...update your RAM.
The system is halting at the 'BOOT' phase; it can't identify a boot device or operating system. Have you connected an SSD or HDD? Do you possess a Windows installation USB drive?
I initially placed the RAM in the proper positions, but I removed them to test it using just a single connector and proceeded down the line checking each slot.
