Today I attempted to play various games, but each one crashes after just a short time. The display freezes while audio continues, and the system restarts without any error alerts. All my attempts have led to the same outcome. I assembled this PC around a year ago and here are the details: CPU – Ryzen 5 2600, GPU – MSI RX 570 4GB gaming, RAM – Corsair Vengeance 2x4 x4 at 2666MHz, motherboard – ASRock B450M PRO4, power supply – Be Quiet! 9.5kW, SSD – Crucial BX500 240GB, HDD – Seagate Barracuda 1TB. I’ve tried updating the graphics drivers, rolling back to an older version from 2020, and defragmenting, but nothing helped. RAM tests showed no issues. Stress testing the GPU for an hour also didn’t reveal the problem. Since everything else seems normal, I’m unsure what’s causing this since my computer was functioning well a few days prior. The only recent change was installing Remote Desktop. Thank you all for your assistance.

Take a power supply with higher wattage and check the results.

Configure BIOS to default settings. Enable auto profile mode. Turn off XMP/DOCP if it appears. Observe performance. Adjust manually if needed: set memory speed to 2666MHz, DRAM voltage and clock settings. For complete timing data, download Aida64 from the motherboard directory. Record timings and apply them accordingly.

Avoid reverting your drivers by fully removing them, restarting the system, and then reinstalling. It might help, or you could attempt to reattach your GPU after ensuring it’s properly seated against the fan or any loose connections.

I removed them using ddu, reinstalled Windows, and added the drivers, but results stayed the same. I also re-seated the GPU without any improvement.

Do you need a way to track your performance during game sessions? Which titles are you focusing on, and what configurations are you using?

I mainly use MSI Afterburner and Core Temp to monitor temperatures and load. I tested running Destiny 2, CS:GO, Battlefield 4, Apex Legends, Escape from Tarkov, and Minecraft, but all crashed eventually. I usually play most games at medium settings.

Also check how much memory or RAM is being used. There could be many factors involved. However, it's best to begin with the PSU. A rating of 450 is suggested for your GPU, but 50 watts isn't a great safety margin.

I didn’t encounter any RAM issues—my tests with memtest86 and Windows diagnostics came back clean. I also can’t risk borrowing another power supply.
