Hello, my advanced boot settings are no longer available. The only option is to 'shut down' and then try restoring them.

Do you possess a standard restart option? If yes, press and hold Shift while activating the restart button to initiate an advanced restart.

I understand you're aware of method B, but it seems only 'shutdown' is visible now.

Ok, plan B There is a very small gap between the motherboard done POSTing and W10 starting to boot. You have to tab F8 like a maniac trying to get the key input in that gap. Might take a few tries btw, but maybe that's an option?

I'm not sure if I can assist, but it's possible you removed a system partition that holds the boot settings. Have you tried using a Windows 10 boot CD?
