Alien: Isolation is a tense experience, which explains why folks might crave it with a face-mounted setup. Behavior can be odd, but now it’s possible. With a few easy .ini adjustments, the game will support Rift natively and add head-tracking for the DK2. The guidance comes from NeoGAF, who suggest locating ENGINE_SETTINGS.XML in the game’s data directory. Adjust the stereo settings as follows: set Stereo Mode to "Rift" with a quality of 4, and Off to also 4. Then switch your Oculus to extended mode and use the config tool to restart the service. Launch the game, then turn on the service by changing the display mode to "Direct to Rift". With positional tracking enabled, you’ll be able to maneuver around obstacles and spot potential threats. Enjoy the challenge! For more tips, check out the shops—grab some comfort items and let your neighbors know you’re safe; they’ll think you’re just playing a game. Source 1 2

Another child's parents are taking legal action against Oculus, claiming the company caused their child's heart attack after playing a game. The incident is linked to feelings of isolation from the virtual world.

I believed it worked right away? Oculus was presenting it at EGX London.

It's a shame I don't own a VR headset, but I think it would be enjoyable to try it out while playing.

The image depicts you targeting the extraterrestrial, not just trying to escape. Your focus is on confronting it directly.

You can keep it away by firing shots, but the most effective method is using a flamethrower. However, ammo is limited, so it’s wise to move stealthily, almost like a secret thief.
