Alcohol reached the edge of the screen and settled in. I added a little to my laptop for cleaning, but it was very dusty.

I'm really shocked by this. Spilling any fluid on an electronic gadget is just... it will disappear quickly, but it might cause a stain.

Just in case you're unsure, never use alcohol to clean screens—it can easily damage the anti-glare coating. Stick to using the right screen cleaners that don’t contain alcohol. If you must clean, wait until the liquid dries completely; it may leave a mark but that’s about all. Remember, avoid putting anything on the laptop again until it’s fully dry.
