AIO Pump
AIO Pump
My friend and I began his recent build last night (he installed the DP himself so I could observe the process). The AIO isn’t showing power, possibly my mistake, but the RGB lights on the fans are active while the fans themselves aren’t turning on and neither is the pump or the LCD. We can reach the BIOS screen, but eventually the system powers down because of overheating. If anyone has advice, we’d really value it. His AIO model is the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB.
Ensure he verifies the cable links again, focusing on the SATA power connection from the pump.
We have examined the SATAS and experimented with another SATA cable. We bypassed the RGB controller by connecting directly to the USB header. We also tested plugging the CPU fan cable into the CPU fan header and the CPU opt header. The only action we didn’t take was removing the pump from the CPU, as some suggested doing so to address potential power concerns.
We’re setting up with an AM5 CPU and a B650-A Gaming WiFi motherboard. The DC fan cord is connected to the CPU fan header, while the NZXT splitter is plugged into a USB port on the bottom right of the board. The pump’s USB is attached to that splitter, and the RGB controller uses its own USB cable. SATA connections come from both the pump and the RGB controller via the power supply. PWM fan cables are routed through the three splitters for power, and the RGB connectors are secured in the controller. I tried to summarize everything in a concise format.
It's possible there was a mistake, but we reviewed a setup tutorial for this pump and went through it thoroughly.
Check the picture I shared. What I think is missing are the NZXT H9 case and the Kraken Elite 360 RGB fan.
