Aio kraken m22 / poe switch inquiry
Hi there, I just switched the orientation of my Kraken M22 and noticed a hum noise coming from the pump/radioator. After updating the BIOS and changing the pump speed from PWM to DC, the noise disappeared. I’m puzzled because even when adjusting speed in PWM mode, the hum still exists. Could you help explain why this happens? Also, regarding your PoE switch question—can I connect a non-PoE device to a PoE switch? I have five non-PoE devices and two Wyze cameras that I want to use with PoE. Is there an option to run everything through one switch? System specs: CPU Ryzen 3600, M.2 slot, 16GB RAM, RTX 3060, NXT case, Corsair 650W PSU, USB splitter and fan controller included.
The pump seems to have just three pins, not four. Therefore, the PWM adjustment has no effect since it isn’t connected to the pump. The voltage influences the output, causing the pump to slow and reduce noise. If it’s a standard PoE unit, there should be no problem. Simply connect those devices to the PoE ports.
