I'm looking to adapt AIO closed loop cooling solutions for upcoming projects but have heard concerning reports about pump failures. Could you confirm if these systems include any safety features that notify users when issues arise? Also, is there software available that alerts the user on the desktop or causes the system to shut down automatically?

varies depending on your motherboard, but if the pump stops spinning and it's a model that connects and sends the pump speed to the motherboard, you might receive a low fan speed alert similar to a fan failure. not every motherboard or AIO setup will trigger this.

the second backup is the CPU temperature warning, including throttling and shutdown features on both the CPU and the motherboard.
